The FIRA Autonomous Car League was created with the aim of self-driving the remote-controlled electric vehicles with an Ackermann steering mechanism with a maximum dimension of one to ten dimensions of real city cars. These cars, which have the closest structure to city cars, can recognize road markings, traffic signs and obstacles and drive automatically in the environment using the sensors they are equipped.
The National Robotics Committee of the Islamic Republic of Iran FIRA was officially formed in November 2013. The committee is in collaboration with the Federation of International Robot-soccer Association and Artificial Intelligence, hoping to help young people better understand the scientific concepts and technology research committee. Fira believes that some of these interests will increase scientific and engineering skills that will ultimately lead to research results that serve humans in various ways.
